New GCSE Grading Structure

Alder Grange, St. Paul’s and Bright Futures have worked closely together for the past few years to grow into a successful and valued local education cluster.

With aspirations to nurture this further, we are planning to explore any developments which can involve and improve local community opportunities and activities.

The National Lottery has two on-going funding programmes which we would like to bid into for projects. These funding programmes are ‘Awards For All’ (up to £10,000) and ‘Reaching Communities’ (over £10,000). The fund websites have more information and
examples of previous successful projects.

Central to this initiative is the involvement in the process of our children, students, their parents, staff and other contacts. We want to work with a broad range of people to create a vision of what project or range of projects would enhance our local community
and its people.

This event is designed to ‘kick off’ the process and explore your ideas for projects which may then be developed and refined into credible funding bids.

This is a great opportunity to see new projects unfold and, with your help, may result in some fantastic opportunities and developments for our local community.

If you are interested in attending this event, please let us know through your school contact or feel free to just turn up.
